Product Info for Hawkins Precision Bedding Block
The limited contact bedding block is designed to contact the action only at the pillar/action screws, and the recoil lug. This means that the bedding block will not place the action in a bind if there are any alignment issues and allow the user to not have to bed their action into the stock. The Bedding Block system features user adjustable pillar heights with a spacers. Users can then adjust +/-.030 in 5 thou increments as needed for bottom metal fitment and magazine feeding. This bedding block system is set-up to fit into any stock and action for a Remington 700 or custom action clone. You will need to mill your stock to accommodate the bedding block and then epoxy it into place.
